As many of you are already aware, Paris Hilton was reportedly arrested for DUI last night in Hollywood. As I was waiting for my tire to be fixed this morning, I was subjected to the Ryan Seacrest morning show on KIIS FM here in Los Angeles. Guess who called in to explain the situation? Paris herself!

She says she was working for, like, two whole days, shooting her upcoming music video. Yesterday evening she met her sister for some Dave Navarro shindig, where she had ONE margarita. But, poor thing, she didn't "ate" ALL day. At 10pm she was just an innocent girl trying to make her way to In N Out, which was only 3 blocks away (and it's not like you can kill anyone if you're only traveling a few blocks), when she got pulled over. She admits she may have been speeding *giggle giggle*. The cops were very nice; they calmly explained to her that because there were so many paparazzi around, they couldn't be seen showing her any special treatment so they hauled her drunk ass away. She claims she was only at the station for 10 minutes and everyone was super nice and sweet to her and then they let her go.

Seacrest kept trying to confirm with her that she was, in fact, NOT arrested for DUI, but she never really explicitly denied being charged. Instead the conversation went something like this:

Ryan: So you were NOT arrested for DUI.
Paris: I'm like on my way to work now.
Ryan: So again, Paris Hilton was NOT arrested for DUI and is on her way to work now.
Paris: I'm like totally working now. Heehee.
