As some of my long-time friends are aware, I used to be semi-obsessed with Steve Irwin. I watched his show religiously and just thought he was so darned amusing. He had such a positive attitude and just seeing how happy he was all the time cheered me up. One Christmas (I think) a friend presented me with a talking Steve Irwin doll! It was hilarious and, again, gave me a good laugh when I needed one.Therefore, I was extremely saddened when I heard of his death earlier today. I haven't followed his show for years now, but I know he has a young family and I feel so badly for them. Let's send good thoughts their way in the coming weeks.
