Golden Globes

I probably shouldn't comment on the Golden Globes since I didn't really watch them (flipped to them during 24 and What About Brian commercials), but oh well. I'll comment anyway. First things first, I believe this was Brangelina's first red carpet walk together, and I think they look good. Brad looks charming and Angelina, while a little severe looking, is still stunning.

I wonder if the tabloids are going to suggest a baby bump. Probably. Are Brad's pants too long? Are they tapered? Hmm...

Anyway, America Fererra (Ugly Betty - a show I can't stand) won the Best Actress for a Comedy blah blah series. I heard she gave a very touching speech along the lines of, "This is for all the ugly girls out there. Yeah!" I'm sorry, but she's not ugly. I highly doubt that truly ugly people (I hate to burst your perfect-world-bubble, but they're out there) find any comfort in Ugly Betty. A lot of girls go through awkward stages where they're wearing glasses and braces (I experienced the whole glasses thing), but watching a TV show wouldn't make me feel any better. I know the difference between fake-ugly and real-ugly.
